Fleet Maintenance Technician

Your days will include:

  • Dry and Full preventative services as well as safety inspections
  • Minor to Major repairs
  • Performing on-site or roadside response
  • Diagnosis and evaluation of symptoms and problems reported
  • Enter work orders, document time spent, parts list, etc.
  • Effectively communicate and provide updates to Service Coordinators
  • Ability to work on a wide variety of brands and types of equipment
  • Follow all safety guidelines and department SOPs

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • Grade 12 and Preferred Red Seal Certification
  • 2-3 years’ experience in heavy-duty mechanics
  • Class 1 license is an asset
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • A solid work ethic and the ability to work independently
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities
  • Capacity to analyze and prioritize repair and maintenance tasks.
